MFAR passes 100K views on Royal Road! (Plus update)
Added 2023-10-15 15:45:34 +0000 UTCExactly as the title says, MFAR passed 100K views this morning! Thank you all so much for being a part of this and helping to make this milestone happen. It's so awesome to see how this story has grown over the last few months, and I'm very happy with how this story is unfolding and I hope you all are too π
Now for the update: I'm working on getting the advance chapters for the $10 tier done. My goal is to have at least 4 advance chapters established before the end of the month. And that number will hopefully continue to grow as we move forward, and I can add advance chapters to all patreon tiers once the backlog gets large enough (10+).
My main issue right now is a lack of time to write extra chapters. My grandfather is getting prepped for heart surgery in November, so on top of the usual stuff that keeps me distracted, I'll also be visiting him multiple times a week leading up to the surgery.
This leads into my next topic; A temp release schedule will be put into effect until after his surgery. It won't change too much, I'm just cutting down the public releases from Sun, Tues, Thurs, and Friday to Sun, Wed, and Fri so I have a little bit more time to prepare each chapter. Right now I'm basically scrambling to get each chapter done the day before it's due, just so I can stay ahead. Well, that'll obviously be slightly more difficult for the next few weeks- hence the schedule change. Sorry about doing this, and I hope you all understand π
I'm also working on some more tier incentives for all tiers. I'll post another update on those once I've got something sorted out. (Spoiler alert: It's maps and character profiles + pictures. π)
And lastly, I'd like to take a minute to welcome all the new patrons who've joined since the last welcome post!
BoadBoad, LegosFreak, Josh, Zane, Puggle552, Thomas Downing, Zaqueo Velez, xdxx345, openope, Bloodorange17, Thomas Stewart, TAtro, and PatronTurtle- welcome to the group, everyone! π
Thanks for reading, and thanks for supporting my work!
