My School President Episode 11 (Full Reaction)
Added 2023-02-27 03:58:52 +0000 UTCTHE ANGST IN THIS EPISODE! Gotta admit, wasn't my favorite. After taking some time to process I felt like this episode struggled a bit execution wise. It seems it fell into the usual trap of trying to sneak in as much angst as possible in the penultimate episode.
For the first time all season things didn't feel satisfyingly resolved by the end of the episode, and the preview for the finale looks like there's still more angst and drama to come!
A bit hard seeing this much angst in what has largely been a comfort show, but I'm confident that they'll finish the season with a bang. Super anxious, but looking forward to what the finale brings us!

Agreed!! I really liked that they went that route. Winning would have been nice but there’s so much more to be learned from a big loss like this that would test their friendship. Also, I wrote this caption after just watching this episode, but after watching the finale as well I feel it changed my mind more haha. I got so used to every episode having a nice resolution but I feel like if I look at episode 11 and 12 as one long final episode, it makes makes more sense. it’s still hard to see them fight so much but looking at it realistically it does make sense that this is what teenagers go through and they lash out in this way too. I guess I was just rly shaken by their fighting and anger that I naturally was very against it. 😭😭

2023-02-27 17:18:41 +0000 UTCI confess I cried watching babies fighting, I'm so attached to this characters that it was so sad watching them argue. But it was so well done, they portrayed teenagers frustrated because they worked so hard and lost it all in a moment so is understandable they lashed out without thinking what they're saying plus they've been walking nonstop under the sun, were thirsty and tired so it was just a in the heat of the moment kinda situation. I understand why this isn't everyones favorite episode, it felt a bit out of harmony with the rest of the series but i think it was necessary that they talked about it even if it was a fight, like it was drama i know but it wasn't uncesessary drama, i'm not saying the fight was needed but for sure they needed to talk about their frustration because they worked really hard for this and the result was not what they were expecting. This might be an unpopular opinion but like that they didn't win, it would've been too perfect, its reality, things like this happen in real life.

They were going through so much all at once and really didn't know how to handle it or communicate to each other properly how they felt. I think I'm just so attached to the characters that it was just hard to see them fight so much 😭😩

It was a major competition they dedicated almost their entire last school year thus the frustration when they did not win. They are high schoolers so we should realize that they do not have yet the emotional maturity to easily accept things that do not go their way. We were all like that at some point, thinking that when we do our best we, should be rewarded. We all too have been frustrated many times before learning that there is more than just winning. When they fought on the way to the temple, I think it was something that should have been expected by many. Looking carefully, all of them are insecure which is why they individually made a wish for themselves and not for the group. With them not winning, they are all bottling up their frustration about themselves. However, it is easier to project those frustrations onto your friends rather than acknowledge one's fault. We also should consider the fact that they were tired, stressed, and even dehydrated at that time thus the tension. Anyway, these setbacks just highlighted that the friendship they have is beyond music and competition. for me i loved this episode so much all of they actors did amazinf job
