I don't know if somebody cleared it up for you but the prefixe 'Ai' is used either with very close friends or people you don't like, in that case it's a close friends situation, it has a female version which I think is 'Ee' but i'm not so sure about that. It is used a lot in bl but like 'Khun' or 'P' it is mostly not subbed and they just replace it by the name. Also Yi & Diao' storyline is difficult to understand in this because they are probably going to make 'Naughty Babe' (their book) into a series.

I think I heard Philip say something about it being months and not that the timeframe will ease your frustrations it might help to understand each episode is about the course of a day or so and the next episode picks up where the previous left off so the thought processes we do get (at least from Kuea) are kind of real time
