I feel like this is the most we’ve really gotten to hear from Chang-min about where his mind is at and how he’s felt throughout the whole season and it’s great to finally get that context from him!
I’m still bummed that all the other ships haven’t been sailing at ALL. But I’m interested to see what happens in the remaining episodes! Who else do you guys think will end up together?!

oooo interesting! So the translation was off!! Ahhh, yes it happens often in subs. Sometimes the translations can be misleading :( But thank you for that context!! I'm guessing you speak/understand korean?? :O

Sometimes the difference in age and life experience caused some misunderstandings cause we think and process things differently, but ultimately we found ways to create a safe space for each other, just like JH and CM. That's why we loved that part so much!! We all have our own love languages! I think that's the most important thing me and Philip learned as well in our own relationship. It's easy to misinterpret someone's actions if they express love differently than you do. But once you learn how your partner best receives love, you learn the best way to give it them. And vice versa! It's easy to overthink and let your thoughts go to a negative place, just like what happens to JH, but once you start to understand your partner, you begin to see that they're showing their love to you in their own way. :) YES!! That's exactly why we've been shipping CM with JF since the first ep!!! There's been subtle hints ever since! Which is why I'm so happy to see where they are now hehehe. Yaaaah, I really think he likes Seon-yul but with all the revelations his feelings are all over the place and doesn't know how to choose cause he's overwhelmed, and understandably so!! 2022-08-21 15:44:28 +0000 UTCYay! I have thoughts I'm sooooooooo sorry this is going to be so long. First off, I totally agree with what you said about Changmin giving Jeonghyun a safe space. I loooooooved that he told Jeonghyun that he shouldn't try to act older than his age. I think that's really important considering their age gap. Normally 9 years wouldn't be a make it or break it difference imo, but the fact that Jeonghyun is only 19 going by American age makes the gap seem a lot bigger in terms of life experience and emotional maturity. It's important that Jeonghyun feels like he can make mistakes and learn without being judged for being "too young" and it seems like Changmin is offering that. Also Jeonghyun has realized that he and Changmin express their feelings differently, which is honestly a great revelation and will be important moving forward if they are dating after the show. Changmin is a guy who has legitimate, logical reasons for doing things in his head, but doesn't feel the need to share them or necessarily talk about them. Jeonghyun is straightforward enough that after he sulks a bit (who doesn't sulk for a bit when they're upset? Lol) he just plain asks about what's bothering him and gets to the bottom of Changmin's thoughts. They compliment each other in that way. Also after rewatching earlier eps, I definitely notice Changmin kinda keeping his gaze on Jeonghyun a lot or being exceptionally interested whenever he is talking but it's not super obvious. I knew they edited it on purpose! Lol. The Laughing Sisters thing is hilarious and I love that friendship line. Hopefully it stays through the rest of the show *cough* episode 9 *cough* Lol. Poor Hyeokjun, rejected by his first choice, but now having 2 people express interest in him, one who he wasn't expecting at all. His feelings have to be all over the place I'd assume. I'm not sure if I'm Team Jeongho or Team Seonyul even after watching episode 9. I'll comment more about the others after watching your episode 9 reaction.

2022-08-21 14:14:52 +0000 UTCAs for Changmin conv with hyuk jun, he told him that in this house he was only interested in him and Jeonghyun but i don't know why they translated it as if he has feeling for both.... but it was clear that he rejected him and told him that he like Jeonghyun and this was good.
