yesss totally agree!! He's putting into practice what his dad said before about how he has to think of everyone and not just favor Porsche. His dad even said it was a good move! It's just sad because it seems like Porsche doesn't realize what he's doing and that he might actually consider running away with Vegas.

It is funny to see how many ppl are hating Kinn now but I can see he has a plan. He has to play along so that they can flush out the mole. Poor Porsche is not on the same page though and that is stressfull. He might do something that divides Kinn and Porsche more than Kinn would have thought at first. (Communication would be the key here...) But yes the way I see it is Kinn is letting Tawan believe he is playing the game and "is winning" when actuallyt that rat-Tawan is the one being played. And Vegas, I'm starting to see more sides to him. Evil is sometimes product of the enviroment and he just looks like is a very lonely person... Interesting to see what his charachter arc is going to be.

This is going to be a lengthy reply so before getting into it I just want you to know that I don’t mean any of this in a confrontational, argumentative or combative way. I would just like to respectfully disagree with some of the points you brought up while also clarifying our stance on these subjects. I think it’s an important conversation to have. Discussing this further will also help me better understand and clarify your point of view as well. I'd like to clarify that while the age difference (whether between the actors or the characters) is a part of our general discomfort for the pairing, the main reason why we can't get behind them is because Porchay is being deceived. It doesn't feel right to be excited about them when Kim has been lying to him and using him from the beginning. Philip and I are no stranger to age difference. Him and I are 8 years apart. That's not the issue. The concern is that Porchay is as young as he is (a minor), he's pure and innocent, and he's being led on by someone he looks up to and admires greatly. Personally I feel protective over him so watching this happen concerns me because I know he's going to be so heartbroken when the truth comes out. That's where a lot of the uneasiness is coming from. As you said, as far as the characters are concerned, the issue is the deception. Their age is just another concern on top of that. However, I also think it's a valid concern to consider how young Barcode (Porchay's actor) is. He doesn’t turn 18 till August 2022 so he was definitely underage during the filming of this show. Just because he's playing a character that's of appropriate age, it doesn't make it okay to romantically pair him with an actor that's 10 years older than him. (Jeff is 27). This isn't a criticism of the story, but more on the production. It would be inappropriate to have them end up as a couple, which makes sense why it was a kiss on the cheek. This was the right move on the production’s part. It’s not to “appease” people. It just flat out wouldn’t have been right to go any further than a kiss on the cheek since Barcode is a minor. Using your logic of separating the actors from their characters as a justification, it's like saying it's okay for a minor to be portrayed drinking alcohol or doing drugs simply because they’re playing a character that is of age. With all due respect, I just don’t think that’s right. Please correct me however if that’s not what you meant. I agree that it’s important to separate the actors from their characters. Sometimes people treat actors horribly simply because they played a character they dislike or hated. It’s happened a lot to Star Wars and Game of Thrones actors. I just believe that in this case, an exception should be made when dealing with a minor or an actor who is underage. You can’t just ignore or forget that the actor is a minor for the sake of the story. Unless it’s clear that the parents/guardians have given proper consent and permission (and even then it’s still a morally gray area), there is no story worth telling if it means putting a minor in an inappropriate situation. You’d have to get an actor who’s at least a few years older to play a younger character.

2022-06-06 18:09:54 +0000 UTCI tried not to say anything about the KimChay situation , and I understand its your opinion, but in the series there isn't that big of an age difference. its like 4 years. The age difference is between the actors and thats probably the reason that it was just a kiss on the cheek. Mainly to apease people like you guys who aren't seperating the acting and the actors themselves. The issue should be the deception, not their age. I love you guys to death, and its your channel so I understand your poinit of view but I hope you can try and not mash together the two.
