Possible reward/goodies for a $15 Tier?

What say you faceless internet beings!? ^___^ Possible voting on specific images...one patron in that Tier wins a specific piece of art...Trying to think since again I am VERY new to all this stuff and hoping y'all out there are much better at this thing than this dopey hoss is.

Possible reward/goodies for a $15 Tier?

You'll definitely want to retain your artist's veto. If you let your supports vote, you pick what the options are; letting them suggest things should be a benefit for a selected tier (maybe the highest) and should have rules about what's allowed (no OCs, that's a commission, as one artist puts it).

One way to count higher tiers for more is to offer a ballot to each tier, with the higher tiers seeing theirs and all those below them. That also allows those with "multiple votes" to spread theirs out a bit if they want. (I believe that's how the artist Savage Shark is referring to does it.)

He very well might. He seems to be taking things nice and slow and trying to figure out the in's and outs of Patreon and what exactly he's able to do with it as medium coupled with *what* he wants to do with it as a medium. Right now I think the 10 dollar tier is sort of the 'Baseline' of his rewards as that's sort of in lockstep with the pricing of Corral membership. Anything over the 10 dollar line becomes an effort of, "Well what else can I offer that people are willing to pay for?" With that in mind I think a 15 dollar tier that offers voting to be a good step forward and if he wants to go even higher then something like a Steering Committee might be a logical next step.

Well he also might want to do more than 20. 25/30/40/50/75/100 is a common spread I have seen for patreon of artists who already have a following of sorts, unless they have something where they open up commission tiers.

I could see the 15 dollar tier being for Hirez/PSD stuff *and* voting? With a hypothetical 20 dollar tier operating as a steering committee.

SummerHeart

I honestly think the 15 tier is where you send PSDs out. 5 bucks is sketches. 10 for sketches and finished products or wips or stuff. 15 for Sketches, wip, high res and PSD files A future 20 dollar tier for a "Steering committee" where people suggest ideas or themes for pictures or you put a voting table of ideas you have had in your head and can't decide what to work on, and such work on the stuff the 20$ people vote for

Tyro Thunderdrone

That's neat.

I dont know about a raffle. But you can host a voting system based on Tier levels. One artist does his where certain Tier votes count as double or more, depending on how high the tier. They even save the votes from a previous month and transfer those over to the new month. This way a vote gets a chance to win teh following month.

Savage Shark

Yeah, they used to be really common. I remember a lot of artists had them and reserved them for higher tier slots. But Patreon got sort of nervous since a lot of states consider raffles a form of gambling and squashed that.

There's a few ways you can handle voting. One possible way to handle it is for you to select a handful of ideas based around character or theme that appeal to you and offer them up as selections for people to vote on what they'd want to see you draw. Another thing you could do is a sort of art request system where you ask the people in the Tier for ideas on what to draw, pick the best ideas and then let people vote on it. This is a bit more tricky as this requires a bit more work as your first collecting ideas from patrons and then picking out what to present as options and then holding a vote. But it's doable. The one idea involving picking a winner is a bit more dicey as I think it runs afoul some ToS stuff Patreon put out. (It used to be sorta common for artists to hold an art raffle.) but I'd double check with an artist with a bit more experience in that sort of nitty gritty. You could just pick out an idea that really appeals to you, but that's not voting. ^.^; (You could make it another even higher tier if you wanted and restrict it to a handful of slots to keep it manageable?) I hope these help. ^.^

Raffles I think are frowned upon by patreon.
