2018-06-27 11:02:42 +0000 UTCThe dialogue is fine, as you said he does not know Pedri's wife is involved with Ava. So as a reader it looks like he is about to connect some dots that will cause stress and possibly hilarity to ensue. It works fine.

But then I read the comments and everything makes sense to me now. I guess he meant Ava like she was some parasite or something. I feel so dumb. :P Thanks everyone.
