Andrew made himself a target by trying to screw Harry not once but like 3 times! Most notably was with Ross. If he hadn't of done that, he'd probably not be under suspicion. Harry genuinely wanted to split it, but as soon as that Round Table happened with Ross, he knew Andrew was a. trying to sabotage him, and b. coming under suspicion. He couldn't trust Andrew after that. No one could. Andrew acts as though he had no choice. But he did. It wasn't like with Kieran, where it was join or die, it was join or don't, your choice.

2025-08-15 16:51:07 +0000 UTCTrue, though I think Wilf panicked and that aroused suspicion. Had he of remained more calm, he might of pulled it off but you could tell by his voice he was guilty. The ultimatum he issued to them just sealed it. But I genuinely think traitors like Kieran, Ross and Andrew (who tried like 3 times to throw Harry under the bus!) are just sore losers. If Andrew hadn't of tried to turn Ross against Harry, then blatantly lie about it when cornered, he wouldn't of drawn suspicion from Molly. Harry knew once Andrew did that he couldn't trust him.

I think he absolutely deserved the win, no doubt! Imagine having won tho and having to keep it a secret for almost a year til the show comes out, yikes! Also believe they don't actually get the prize money til the show has actually aired, which makes sense. And it is tax free when winning money on a tv show in the UK, so it all went in his pocket!

2025-08-15 11:41:15 +0000 UTCI'll be boring about the Comic Relief actors now: Suranne Jones is best known for being a Serious Actress who does Proper Drama, so her being Claudia is just inherently funny to watch. The Paul actor was a big sketch show deal in the early 2000s and does stuff with Simon Cowell now, but most people consider him a little... creepy now? Lot of unpleasant rumours, true or not. So him being Paul makes sense. Not sure if you are familiar with Catherine Tate (Evie/Charlie) but she was also a big sketch show deal in the early 2000s and was also a fan favourite companion in Doctor Who. She's one I always hoped to see do Taskmaster one day.

2025-08-15 10:55:32 +0000 UTCIncredible wig and eyeliner work. The task for this final always gets me, because it's so obvious they must have cut out about 3 hours of training/safety lectures. But yeah otherwise it's quite a depressing end. Even though everyone saw it coming, the nation didn't really enjoy spending their entire January obsessed with this show only for Harry to win on such a cruel note. My mum was in the army and she immediately texted me 'he can't go back to the army after that, they'll beat the shit out of him' and sure enough he left the army right away!
