I watched the US version, if only for Alan - but the celebs and reality "stars" aspect of it I found really grating. I have high hopes for the UK celebrity special, though... but for the "normal" series I think average everyday people are more interesting to watch because you don't know them, and what their personality is like at first.

Two stand out ones for me are Aus version season 2 and USA season 2. both season of the usa ones are pretty good as they have some celebs and former reality stars from shows like survivor so they are all quite cunning and manipulative and they take place in the same castle in the UK with Alan cummings who is ridiculously dramatic.

If you havenβt heard the rhod Gilbert one, itβs madness and a lot of tm chat. Taskmaster at Glastonbury looked so fun, Greg and Alex sang together, the contestants included acaster, Lou sanders and Kerry godlimen!
