WAIT WHAT? How did I miss this?
Anyway, Henry Ford is the first to make an assembly line to produce cars that would be cheap to buy. The invention was German though, as Stephen said. And apparently, from what I’ve read on different threads, Americans are taught they invented it when they really didn’t.

Its too bad that the Anteater Coffee Spill didn't come up after Sandi Toksvig took over the hosting duties :) And as a Scandinavian I can say it is a pretty accurate attempt at speaking Danish. I say attempt, because not even Danes can do it in a way that is intelligible to other people.

Mussolini was the fascist dictator of Italy from the 1920s till WW2, on the side of the Nazis. Also Alexei Sayle is still alive, but not really mainstream anymore! his heyday was in the 80s as an surreal anti establisment comic who used to be a member of a communist party.
