If you're interested in that actor side of Taika Waititi, he's got a more dramatic kind of role in he's first movie, "Boy". It's a good movie ! So is "hunt for the wilderpeople", if for some reason you do a New Zealand pole some day, those are two great choices (they both would work for a dramedy pole also) 😊

From Stede and Ed meeting and all of the parallels between them (and the parallels between Stede's wife and Izzy as the partners - wedded or professional - who are trying to make it work with men who are having midlife crises), to Jim coming out of disguise, to that gorgeously shot lighthouse trickery with the whole crew pulling off something competent, to the reveal at the end of Ed's plan. Also, as much as I love Blackbeard, this was the episode that endeared Izzy to me. As someone who's worked for charismatic but erratic bosses, I deeply felt the whole "Can we just focus for a minute? Focus so this ship doesn't go down? Oh god, if you just told me this morning you thought it was the wrong date, we could have avoided this entire mess..."
