Ha, we're complete opposites in our perceptions then! I started watching after Sandi had taken over too though, so that's definitely made me a little biased

2024-10-10 02:00:33 +0000 UTCFunny, I get the exact opposite impression as Evan, Stephen comes across more as just a guy with the answers on a card, whereas Sandi comes off as a bit of a know-it-all to me (only slightly) That, said, I do prefer Sandi hosting QI too. I think because when I discovered QI she had already taken over. Only marginally, I do like both of them quite a lot.

2024-10-10 00:56:22 +0000 UTCI make a tomato-based vegetable soup (kinda like ratatouille) and I add lentils for protein, just like adding a bean. It's very good :) Alan is a vegetarian, has been for yonks.

2024-10-07 06:21:47 +0000 UTCQI's more of a quiz-style panel show. You might be thinking of Alan's other show As Yet Untitled for celebs sitting around swapping anecdotes. QI does care about people getting the answers right, it's just that you lose points for giving a boring/expected wrong answer (like a widely circulated factoid that isn't actually true) and can get points for sharing interesting but true bonus information.

The show has researchers discovering the most up to date facts, which they ask the panelists. But they're all "quite interesting" facts, a lot of which are contradictions to so many things we've accepted as facts. Because the show has run for so long, at one point they even do an episode on things they have already covered, that have since been proven wrong.

There are hundreds of eps, each season is based around a letter of the alphabet. I think they are up to season t, but could be very wrong on that. Stephen fry hosted up to season m, then Sandi toksvig takes over. Alan is there every ep, other 3 spots rotate. Pick any Qi vid, they are all quite interesting and funny!
