I know I could track this down somewhere, but I'm glad I don't have to bother with that cause they are here.

2024-08-01 21:17:31 +0000 UTCIf you add pasta to just-boiling water, some of the energy is moved to heating the pasta, and therefore the temperature goes back down past boiling. Just try it yourselves. i feel like Jenny should have argued that the water *was* boiling when the pasta was added, and only stopped when the pasta was added, and that measuring the temperature then is irrelevant. :p
