the prize tasks don't get much better but i do give them some grace bc i think they were all in lockdown. daisy may cooper is on a great show she created with her brother called This Country about growing up poor in rural england and it's based on their younger years.

2024-06-07 16:21:18 +0000 UTCi love this season personally, its where i started watching tm 🙇♀️🙇♀️ theyre so giggly and fun, it makes the entire series feel like outtakes 😭 i personally love mawaan as well - i feel like his youthful energy/charisma brings a lot to what is otherwise a bit of an older cast!! everyone else is great too - the covid seasons, probably due to a lack of audience, means that the contestants have realllyyy good chemistry with each other - almost like they’re on a podcast rather than trying to play things up for an audience

2024-06-07 16:08:08 +0000 UTCS12 is where they start copying NZ tasks. The vanishing task was in NZ S1, but that's just a coincidence as the seasons were broadcast around the same time. I think the prize task you're thinking of was most edible looking inedible thing? That was the only food-adjacent prize task in NZ S2, but completely different from the one here. Also, NZ S2 aired after UK S11.

2024-06-07 15:04:21 +0000 UTCThe studio audience for this (and the next couple of series) were recorded in a cinema in London a few months after they filmed the actual studio segments. It's pretty impressive that the cast vibes well without any crowd noises to react to.
