He asked Madonna for advice on In the closet because he wanted it to be controversial and she told him to cut his hair to make him look rebellious but MJ declined since he wasn't comfortable with her ideas.

The reason why you were confused by the Black or White music video ending was less allegations but mainly because they censored the writing in the Music video the things he was smashing had racist messages on it when it first aired some people didn't like that MJ was getting political so he decided to censor it. At the time it was the most viewed thing on tv with 500 million people watching its premier.

Hey Jacob, I know you are not giving Britney a chance, but I feel her music videos would make you appreciate her artistry a lot more. Glad that you are doing it with Michael, of course he is the king in every aspect, but his music videos changed the industry. And in many ways so did Britney's.

So there really isn’t any interviews he did outwardly discussing the 93 situation. TBH there’s a documentary called Square One that fully explains the 1993 allegations. I feel you really need to see that in order fully understand his anger throughout the HIStory album. Especially for the songs D.S. & Money.

The dangerous album came out in late “91 with most of the music videos being released in “92. The Allegations didnt hit til he was already on his Dangerous tour in “93. I recommend watching the documentary “Square One” as it covers the first allegations in detail and claims his innocence.

You missed my favorite early childhood music video “ will you be there?”. It was from the Free Willy soundtrack. It had a bunch of clips from the movie😁

As always, love seeing you react to MJ and can't wait for the Dangerous tour reaction!
For interviews during the Dangerous era regarding the allegations - he only did a couple public statements, one in 1993 from his Neverland home and one in 1994 during the NAACP Image Awards.
An info tidbit: he ended up settling the first allegation in 1993 for $20 million (because, of course, why not try to milk as much money as you can from the most famous person in the world), with $5 million going to the lawyers of the family that accused. This was a decision largely influenced by MJ's lawyers who didn't want it sticking around and further damaging his career if it went to trial, especially given that he was working on HIStory which released in 1995. MJ later said he regretted settling and started fighting back more especially after he released the HIStory album. But that's more stuff for you to dig into later lol.
HIStory definitely tells a lot and is 100% his angry album he was going after people in that big time😂 Several songs were influenced by the allegations + those who surrounded him during that time.
