Donโ€™t Stop was #1 for 1 week because 1979 was the peak of DISCO- there was so much music coming out all fighting for chart dominationโ€ฆ I highly recommend watching a documentary of the history of DISCO MUSIC ๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿ•บ๐Ÿผ

Powder Blue

Yeah, Q was the KING of production.

Powder Blue

Ben was his pet rat. ๐Ÿ€ Iโ€™m not joking.

Powder Blue

Did you see that Quincy Jones the guy who produced most of Michaelโ€™s songs passed away yesterday. So sad

Stella

Madonna has better Videography than michael but you're not ready for that conversation

Sean James Borja

Nooooo way, Iโ€™m so sorry! Iโ€™ll have to reupload later!

people believed โ€œshamoneโ€ was just a different way of saying โ€œcome on,โ€ but it was revealed that he was paying tribute to soul singer Mavis Staples, who used it in a performance

Kevin

mj definitely has the best music videos of all time, also bad is about a kid from a bad neighborhood who returns home from a private school and gets into trouble with the neighborhood kids. Jackson said he was inspired by a true story about a student who was killed by his friends after returning home from Thanksgiving break.

Kevin

some other mj songs i think you should listen to: got to be there off the wall human nature smooth criminal why you wanna trip on me remember the time in the closet scream (w/ janet) earth song come together (beatles cover) blood on the dance floor ghosts (the mv is iconic) unbreakable break of dawn heaven can wait (you may have heard this one) butterflies whatever happens chicago (you might know this one too) idk he just has so many good songs in his discography ๐Ÿ˜ญ

Kevin

people didnโ€™t have as high expectations for thriller but after the success of thriller the hype grew and people had higher expectations for bad which had more #1 hits

Kevin

there were four albums in the 70s that michael had: got to be there, ben, music & me, and forever michael, in 1979, he released off the wall, a disco album, and it was his first album where he had full artistic control of his music, so a lot of people consider that the first official album in his discography

Kevin

his last tour before this is it was the history tour 1996-1997
