2024-11-01 23:16:03 +0000 UTCWhen this album came out I was in college and it was so monumentally huge that kids younger than me who didn’t know her as an artist thought this was her debut album and we belong together was her debut hit song. 😂🤣😂🤣it really was like a second debut for her with a younger generation and she basically took over 2005 the way she took over ‘95.

Bryson Tiller’s “Don’t” samples it. No covers on this album. The era was monstrous for her in the United States. Her former critics and naysayers during the Glitter and Charmbracelet eras were eating crow.
