At first I did a blueberry variant based off the line art from the Bethany piece (this is not intended to be Bethany btw. Pumpkin’s bad enough, but double dipping? This soon after? Yeesh).
But I also have been wanting to show more Melanie. Specifically, Melanie on the job. After all she is a therapist specializing with larger patients, be they inflated, massively overweight, or in this case, a blueberry.
Granted, I probably should’ve maybe given a little more thought into this specific scenario. Melanie’s strategy here is kind of basic. Albeit, Mel’s suggestion is supposed to be off the dome. But maybe I should’ve organized it more as a back & forth. But whatever, I’m pretty happy with it.
The one problem I had with the art was that I had maxed out the layers on the original blueberry, so I had to start drawing Melanie on a new project file. But I didn’t realize the size of that new file was smaller. So instead of doing a Melanie to add to the Blueberry art, I did the reverse & it got a bit smaller. My bad. I goofed. Still it’s pretty big. Not smaller than what I usually do. But that’s why the versions without Melanie are also a little bigger.

2024-11-04 04:03:14 +0000 UTCI can definitely see that it’s more of an off the dome suggestion from Melanie but I think this is still a good snippet from a larger convo between the two even if it’s not a proper back and forth. I do really love seeing Melanie in her professional setting working with someone now much larger.
