I’ve had a few different people ask about a potential follow up to “But Like Why Not Though?” & while I never initially planned on doing one, I did kind of like their look. And it seems like their friend might’ve gotten in their head.
Though I am kicking myself for forgetting their lanyard (where I hid Hailington as the employer, but it was way, WAY too small to read).
Included Text & No Text versions, & then Glasses/No Glasses Full res versions (though preferring without is psychotic to me. You’re fine, & we’re still cool, but psycho behavior. Always opt glasses). This will go public in about two weeks.

In other news, if you are seeing this early, thank you for continued support!
I’ve never wanted to be too precious with the content I post here. A lot of it ends up going public. Hell, I only even started a patreon when I hit a rough patch a few years ago. But I definitely appreciate you all!
Recently though, I started to notice a bunch of the same names subscribing, then unsubscribing, only to almost immediately resubscribe again right after the billing cycle passes. In one instance, when asking someone who did this, they just assumed I was set to charge pledges upfront by default? And someone else said something similar in the past.
Anyway, I’m not hurting. I wouldn’t mind it so much if it only affected me. But whether it’s intentional or not, I still don’t think this is very fair to those who’ve been there for the long haul. And I want to do right by them. So I wanted to let folks know I am starting to consider moving to an upfront billing system. And I wanted to give a heads up way in advance in case it’s something I end up doing (will make it very clear if I do switch too). If you’re a longtime or just long term patron looking to stick around for a bit, this shouldn’t impact you. But if switching to an initial upfront charge curbs that sorta thing from happening? I’m willing to give it a whirl.
Willing to hear what you guys think on the matter.
