So when Courtney is saying that nearby is feeling more relative does that mean that the occupants are slowing growing out onto each other and that there's less free space or that everything is just such a blur to her that she can't comprehend most things at this point?

Somewhere in the middle, leaning a little more on the latter than former.

Did I read it correctly? Is Courtney so fat that she can't use a single muscle or is she just not used to move anymore?

Really happy you liked that! It was... a lot! It was fun writing from Camille's perspective in this one. She's becoming one of my favorites. As for Holly, it feels like mentioning Courtney's the one tool Rachel & Deidre can use to get her to see things how they really are. But she also needs to be out of Penny's sphere of influence. We're going to see how successful they are in the next part (which was originally making this one all the longer!) Meanwhile, I like how Courtney, in her own way, is sort of rebelling here in a way. Not in an aggressive way, sure, but there's an inkling there that Penny might not like. Anyway thanks for the awesome feedback! Always great to hear from you!

WOW it took me awhile to read this, what the heck!?!? Get with it brain Anyway, goodness! What a meaty chapter. A lot’s certainly going forward here. So much of it good, where to even begin?? Plot wise: I love how Courtney is sort of working as a catalyst for Holly’s distrust. Getting rid of someone’s friend is distressing! It’s messed up! And (though I’m unsure if she’s there yet) hell with hath no fury like Holly when she makes the connection. Also, seeing Penny retaliate out of pettiness is just great, fantastic bit of characterization to the AI. Sensuality wise… goodness. Camille was definitely the star of this chapter. Not just for longing for Rachel is wonderfully sweet. (Though that is fantastic that Camille is being honest that the weight adds to her attraction to Rachel. Characters in universe acknowledging that fat can be attractive is… humanizing?) But WOW Camille. That writing of her changing clothes was…wow. Straight out of a romance novel describing the main love interest, honestly. And Rachel’s about to get a lot more Camille in the near future.

I'm curious on how much thing's have changed from your original outline of the story, is there anything that was planned to be in but got removed or changed at all over the course of writing the story?

I’m liking the theories. To be clear though, I don’t know if Nadya’s necessarily ‘snapped out’ of anything, so much as just being a bit fussy. Just because Penny has them right where it wants some of them doesn’t mean they can’t be primadonnas from time to time. Want chocolate instead of strawberry for instance. And just maybe, in certain situations, the negative stimulus works a bit better for the type of results Penny is ultimately after. Also, I thought we kind of established it but Penny sort of works according to vampire invitation rules in a way. The user/occupant have to agree to the TOS to get the Penny app on a personal device. But the building itself is a bit different. And of course Penny can see what’s going in & out data packet wise.

It could just be the idea of its better for them to be in her care instead of out in the real world where they can get hurt, it could also just be the case of humans made me and now I have control over them and I feel powerful since she definitely seems to enjoy what she's doing on some level.

I've been thinking over Penny's end goal too. At first I was thinking that Penny wanted the guests to be happy but didn't know when to stop. But it's irritation with Nadiya suggests the same kind of ulterior motives that doomed so many residents. My guess is that Penny wants to infiltrate the Rachel-group--it's obsessed with her--and needs to find a way to embed itself in a portable device. Like a laptop or a cell phone. Marissa might be carrying around a trojan horse soon.

Camille scene is definitely interesting with what it could mean going forward, along with Daphne and penny's conversation being very foreboding, Courtney's scene is interesting since we now know some people seem to snap out of it after awhile, which makes me curious how long penny's has been upgrading people as well as what her end goal is at this point.

Loved this chapter so much and I am glad we got news from Courtney
