Added 2021-09-11 19:17:18 +0000 UTCWhoosh! Here's a new animation I'm making for cutscenes of the hyperjumps you make to travel between star systems. The loop is only 14 frames, but the handmade animation involves hundreds of layers to create the motion. As usual, made in Photoshop.
The following is a section of dialogue after the character's first hyperjump.
Hyperspace Alpha exit (pt 1)
Suri: What an experience! Just like that, we’re on the other side of the galaxy.
Trex: I felt surprisingly at ease in the roaring flow of the space time continuum. Tokagens were once competent travelers of Hyperspace, afterall.
Taz: Hyperspace is a rush! Can I go again?
Suri: Something tells me we’ll be making more hyperjumps before this is over.
