Rough Day

I imagine this little conversation transpires after this poor, perhaps slightly vain young woman had her day ruined by ballooning up to the size she is here & have the friend/partner/spouse she’s addressing somehow get her home in one piece. At this point, it’s dark, but she’s finally home, settled, comfortable enough, & just needs one more teensy tiny thing, as silly as it might be.
Had high hopes for this one over all, but it wasn’t turning out exactly the way I would’ve hoped. And ultimately, I feel as though I murdered this one with filters in the program, trying to darken things. Might revisit later, but at the current moment, I’ve got too much brewing to dwell. Especially when I’ll need fresh eyes to do my best.
