Rainchecks on Resolutions
Added 2020-06-19 18:29:13 +0000 UTCHey, remember like six & a half years ago? Back in January, in fact the first week of endless hell cycle which has become 2020?
During those halcyon days, I posted this little diddy featuring a fun little exchange between two friends & their shared "New Year's Resolution," & how one friend, running into a few small issues adhering to it, was looking to make a few on the fly revisions? Well I figured we should check up for a bit follow up.
While I'm finishing it up & posting this now, this was started much, much earlier in quarantine (& I had an abundance of time to work, I didn't really have the privacy to focus on this sort of thing, frankly). It maybe makes a little less sense now that things are (for better or worse) mostly opened back up again, but I don't know. Maybe it's more realistic a gain that way? Or maybe this was an exchange that occurred back just three years ago in the middle of March 2020.

Hope (sort of being in denial about her own self) was just being catty about some random coworker she typically doesn't like by playing up the fact they maybe put on a few pounds. To me? It's a little funnier if she blows their gain out of proportion compared to her own. BUT I also have no real stake in this character NOT being "Miranda" (or whatever name I used for that Hope picture LoL). People weaving an larger extended cinematic universe with these characters if they like is totally fine by me!
