Hey folks! I've been busy working on SFX all week, which is difficult to present as all the new work has yet to be implemented into the game. Nevertheless, I want to show you an exclusive look at more extended raw gameplay in this update.
With that said, keep in the mind the SFX are a bit rough and several sounds are still missing in this video. Also, the dialogue feature is broken and hasn't been fully implemented into the HUD. The graphics and gameplay are pretty much final, but we intend to spice up how some things explode, including the bosses.
Check out my performance in this perfect run through Hyperspace Alpha. That means I cleared all objectives in a single run without taking a hit. The objectives on this level are destroy all space debris, destroy all enemies, collect all plasma, and finish the level with full armor. My average upgrades level is 13/40. I'm playing on Ace mode, which is the second difficulty tier of 4. I'm slightly OP for achieving any single objective, but at the appropriate level to attempt a perfect run.
I'm using Thexter as my wingman. A solid choice for this level as he is invulnerable to stun balls and able to break them.
This was captured using Screenflick on my 8 year old iMac. Occasional frame hiccups are a result of my computer not being able to keep up while running the recording software.
