The Perils of Automation

I was looking to finish this up before I posted anything else, and let me tell you it took a while. Could've spent more time on it, but in all honesty, I would much rather just move on. Besides, I've got some news!

For one, happy one month anniversary! And guess what? We hit the first goal! That means in the next day or two I'll be posting the first installment of a long form story. I've got something in mind, but it is something completely different from the roommates (which more with them soon too). Initially, I put that goal up thinking I'd maybe would only make it half way towards it honestly, but it would be cool to shoot for. I have to say, I'm blown away by your support and generosity! So thank you all, once again! I really appreciate it! More stuff coming soon!

In the mean time, here's this nightmare of a piece that took ages thanks to all the arms. I was thinking about hammering out a little short blurb but honestly, I kind of just want to move on. Like the basic premise when I posted the preview image, the idea is this young woman tinkers on inventions in her garage. She has a bit of a sweet tooth, but wanted to be efficient as possible. So she decided to build a mechanical arm to fetch her sweets. Well that arm built another. And that arm built another. And then that arm... well that arm started bringing her pastries but the first two kept building others until there were around two dozen of them. And in some sort of sorceror's apprentice situation, now the poor girl is at the arms' mercy. But hey... at least she's got something to snack on. The intent was to have her trying to bat that donut away, realizing the gravity of her situation, but I wouldn't be mad if you interpreted it as her reaching for it. And since I worked in layers, I've got some large, alternate versions for you as well should you be interested. No biggie, just hiding the mess on her face, or her glasses, or both. And also a special no arms version shot on a flir camera if you were maybe into those dumb ghost hunting shows that were big a decade ago.

Thanks again everybody!
