Into the Sun
Added 2018-12-27 21:31:41 +0000 UTCA befitting theme for what is most likely my last Pixel_Dailies entry of the year. Taking a minimalistic approach here with a 6 color palette and fairly small canvas(112x128). I intentionally wanted it to be a bit abstract, more focused on the design, and therefore, no references were used. I like the impact of the simple composition, and how movement is created with few elements.
The color is also a bit abstract and conceptual. I wanted the the sun to be bright, but also uncomfortable to look at with a disconcerting color combo. Strong movement pulls into the sun while the swirly colors unnerve and beg you to resist. One final moment of chaos before it all ends.
