Back online! Woot!

All moved in, and I finally got my computer set back up last night!

Ngl, this house has taken a lot of work just to get it so it feels liveable, so much that my fingers actually hurt. They don't just ache, but it actually hurts to touch the pads of my fingertips. It gives new meaning to the saying, "Work your fingers to the bone."

(Hmmm, Spongebob is popular on the GIF sites today...)

I've worked in factories and restaurants most of my life, and I've never hurt the way I do after a week of sunup to sundown fixing on this house. :P BUT it's ours, and we are going to turn it into something we love.

However, after two weeks of preparing to move, moving, and working on the house (and believe me, I'm nowhere near being done), it's time to get back to work—well, work that isn't repairing all the stuff that needs fixing around here.

First up is the second half of Green Dawn (That's a tentative name, I'll explain why in a minute). I made it to page 15 before tearing apart my office for the move, so I'm hoping to have that done in the next couple of days. Then, the finale of Fortunate Meetings before working on the next chapter of TRC.

I've had an idea for a zombie story in my head for a while now, and in my attempt to throw together another story at the end of last month, I asked Chat GPT for some help. I think it's obvious that I did not let AI write the story, or else I would have had it done in February. However, it did give me an outline, which I asked it to flesh out a little more, along with word counts for pacing. I'm going to share what GPT generated along with the completed version of GD for the sake of transparency. I also find it a little funny how it gave me targets to shoot for. I ignored a lot of the suggestions it made. After all, it's my story, not AI's. For that same reason, I think it needs a different name than the one Chat GPT came up with. So, assuming I can come up with one that sounds better (I'm open to suggestions. You guys seem to be good at that), the final version may have a different name.

Anyway, Time to get back to it!

Moving house is the most stressful thing you can do. Glad you’re near the end of it. Take some time and enjoy yourself, and let them magic fingers recover.
