Game Mockup - 3 (WIP1)

As a new driver you will have to learn the roads by heart in these uncharted lands. Roads can get pretty rough in these parts too, so make sure you maintain your truck and always carry a spare tire.
I pixeled a farm scene with a truck about a year ago that got me thinking about a game where you deliver mail in a sparsely populated countryside very much inspired by where I grew up in Kansas. Now I'm excited to finally visualize the concept.
I'm not sure if I'll be able to do multiple scenes, as you can see the level of detail is quite high so far. I think I will focus on just making this one scene as awesome as possible and realize some of the ui elements.
Next week I'll share more about the design and gameplay. I also need to do some research and develop the back story more. Hope you like it!

oh yeah, I remember that post, I'll take another look at it :) but yeah maybe seeing it in action would help. You're the best Slynyrd!

2018-10-07 12:20:51 +0000 UTCGlad you like it! I'm using the same principals from Pixelblog 2 about texture. In this case, repetition of a few simple cluster groupings that appear like a few blades of grass. It's really simple, but maybe it helps if I time lapse the process.
