As some of you might know, I'm participating in vaati's "Imagining Bloodborne 2" art competition, which is due the 1st of april: https://youtu.be/X0Pe2yfyUdo
I'll be focusing on creating the best entry that I can for it, and I'll be sharing my process and sketches for it with you guys :)
I already have a basic sketch over what I'm making and a bit of lore behind it as well.
At the moment, what I have planned to design is a new area of the game, a new type of 'chalice dungeon'. Except I really wanted to improve on the things I didn't like about the original chalice dungeons. I want to make it more open and less maze like, less repetitive and monotonous feeling.
I also wanted to expand upon the concept of nightmare realms, and I thought that could be a perfect thing to intertwine with this new chalice dungeon. In other words, this 'chalice dungeon' is a nightmare realm.
There is a lot of lore implication that come with this that I still have to figure out and make sense before I continue designing my ideas.
