I know I said last week that I would focus on the Character Profiles this week and that was my intention. But I made a decision to implement a framework to improve the backend before I do too much with the database. This decision will mean less work and faster updates once it is fully implemented and will allow for some pretty nice things, such as an API which long term could turn into a cross-platform (Android, iOS, Mac, Windows and Linux) companion app - essentially having the Interactive Spread Sheets and other tools and all the Character, Location and Item Profiles easily accessible. Not to mention easy access to the guides once I have actually written some.
Next week will probably also focus on the implementation of the framework, but I hope to have the Character Profiles available to all of you as soon as possible and start making the Item and Location Profile integrations as well.
I am sorry about the delay now, but I genuinely believe it will mean less delays down the line.
