Status Report

It's been quite some time since I did a free status report, so let's get one of those in before the end of the month.

To recap for those who don't know, there are two major parts to "The Beach Update" I'm working on. One is the beach event, and the other is the entire second half of the game's core structure.

The core structure stuff is 95% done. I need to make and implement a few nice pics of Samantha texting Flin. I need to plug a metric fuckload of images and animations into the mini sex scene code (but that's mindless stuff, won't take long). I need to polish some things.

The beach stuff is like...85% done.

There's a bunch of buildup stuff that is all completely done.

Kelly's sex scene is done (but I'm gonna add one more animation to it anyway).

Amy's sex scene is very close visually, and more than halfway text-wise (visuals take far longer than text, so it's close).

Julies sex scene is about a quarter to a third of the way visually and roughly plotted out text-wise. This is the bulk of what I need to do.

Then there's miscellaneous other beach stuff, particularly sounds, which are only partially done. Music, too. I'll admit part of me wants to compose a new background song for the beach update...I'm playing that one by ear, lol.

Of course, after that there's still final polish. Gotta update the gallery and shit like that.

Jiggle Physics

I suppose I didn't brag about this to the free members yet: I finally figured out jiggle physics in Blender! And you'll see that most prominently showcased in the beach update. Suffice to say, my animation skills have leveled up a bit.

There's also a new animation playback method I'm working on, which I'll talk about more in a later post. It lets me change animation speed more gradually than my current version does (apparently some computers don't see any animation speed change at ALL while playing, which is a goddamn travesty).

At any rate, I don't like to give dates or deadlines...I'm just going to say that a (late) July release is theoretically possible.
