I haven't done too many first-person shots, and this is the first one ever that actually features Flin's hands! I really liked what the hand-clasps added to the shot.
One issue this image (and others like it) have right now is that the text box pretty much covers up...an important part. Friendly reminder that you can press "H" or the middle mouse button to temporarily hide the text box while playing, but I'd sorta prefer to move it myself during this scene (and others). I'm not sure what I would do, though.
...I literally just had this thought while typing, but I wonder about adding shadows to the text, and then removing the text box entirely? The text would still be in the way, but it could be nicer nonetheless. Shadows would allow for readability against any background.
Alternative ideas would be to move the text box around, like having it go along the top or tucking it into one corner, but that just sounds so annoying to figure out and implement. Honestly, just getting the multi-text box thing to work when two people talk at once was a PAIN, even after I found PyTom's tutorial on it (and it is not easy to find this excellent tutorial for some reason).
Anyway, some fun climactic action! How many times will Flin and Kelly do this in 3 days, I wonder?
