Projects Update - October 17th
Added 2019-10-17 10:31:34 +0000 UTCSorry for the lack of posts lately, I have no reason other than slacking off and waiting for Breach to finish the copyedit stage. Here are the current projects I'm working on.
— Afar: Mad World — & — Breach The Archangel Job —
As of currently, I'm going through writing the first half of chapter 2 of Afar: Mad World, which is much longer than I anticipated. It goes through the MC's escape, much like the escape from the precinct in Breach, but with more options and possibilities.
I've worked through and pretty much finished laying out the groundwork for what chapter 2 will become. My work is currently filled going through possible fixes for Breach and waiting for them to send me the edited version of the game for release. I currently have no idea what the November release date mean, but I'm hoping to be able to finish editing the game before then.
— The Short Story —
Carly's short story "900 Miles to Barcelona" has been released! It's available for patrons only and will be canon for the game's lore, as will be all the short stories afterwards. The next short story will be chosen as usual via a poll in another post for certain patrons only.
The choices for the next short stories are:
- (Modern) Hayne's short story: "Cold Fire" - An officer of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police must press against the scrutiny by her corrupt supervisors whilst battling a brutal gang of drug dealers.
- (Modern) Gabriel, Michael, and Raquel's short story: "Shadows Of Titans" - Three unnamed mercenaries travel through a country torn in civil war to find and intercept a shipment of drugs that fuels both sides of the war.
- (Fantasy) A Trebantaboo short story: "Kazoo and Jourhan" - A tale of twin brothers, a cataclysmic event that turned Trebantaboo into the mad world that it is, and a family bond that lasts even through death, and beyond.
- (Modern) Independent Short Story: "Hotel Garuda" - An daring Interpol raid of a meeting of criminal organizations inside a hotel turns into a bloody free for all, told from three different perspectives.
— Tabletop RPG —
As of currently, there is a huge gap between the stories in the game and the what's going on in the tabletop sessions. There will be some stuff that will appear only in the game and not the tabletop version, and vice versa.
The game is currently halfway through chapter 2, while the story in the tabletop version has already reached the end of chapter 4.
— Sneak Peeks and Screenshots —
Right after this post, I will be posting screenshots for select tiers ($3 and up) as to what Ben and I have been working on and maybe some other sneak peeks about the game that we may have. It will be early access and will later be released to the public.
