My favorite reactions is your office reactions. starting to get through the season's now, can't believe it. I strongly encourage you to start reacting to Parks and Recreation. 2025-01-29 20:56:27 +0000 UTCIf I’m not mistaken, watching some behind the scenes in the past, I believe I remember hearing - Many of the actors used their real first name for their characters because they were initially just background characters for the first season and had few to no lines. They didn’t know if the show was going to be picked up for more seasons, so they didn’t feel the need to give those actors separate character names. They also didn’t know at the time whether or not those background characters would become a bigger part of the show. For instance, Phyllis Smith (who plays Phyllis Vance) was originally hired as assistant casting director for the show, and was used more as an extra in the background for the first season.

Great cast with Chris Pratt, Aubrey Plaza, Amy Poehlr, Rashida Jones (Karen in The Office), Adam Scott, and Nick Offerman. One of the most underrated shows out there.
