Just noting this in case it can be in a future episode - I’d love to hear more about what’s going on in Missouri with this Marcellus Williams case.

2024-09-24 08:00:36 +0000 UTCProbably a bit late, but I'd love to hear about the Pokemon lawsuit against Palworld. From my understanding it's on the basis of patent and not copyright and I'm really not all that familiar with videogame elements being covered under patents at all. I understand that both companies are in Japan so I believe that the lawsuit has been filed in Japanese courts, but even if Matt is unable to comment fully on Japanese patent law, it'd be neat to hear his perspect on the matter from a US court perspective.

2024-09-19 22:32:04 +0000 UTCI would love the Titan sub thing also. I find Rush such an interesting example of how profit driven mentality can obliterate regulations. It's fascinating how this guy was a walking red flag parade but couldnt be stopped from diving in international waters.

2024-09-18 19:53:36 +0000 UTCI am definitely here for the Titan sub hearing, but I would also like to hear about the copyright fight between Trump and the Isaac Hayes estate

2024-09-18 19:53:15 +0000 UTCThe pager attack that someone* staged in Lebanon yesterday was like a supervillain's plot; it's surely also terrorism. How does the USA determine what heinous acts are terrorism, and which are... something else? Does the USA have any legal obligations to help or hinder the Lebanese government's investigation, or to conduct our own? If the part of our government helps cover up what happened, is that a crime? *Israel

2024-09-18 19:48:31 +0000 UTCI'd be interested in hearing about recent changes in the charges against the Atlanta Solidarity Fund, but recognize that despite national attention on the Stop Cop City movement this might be too local to be worth looking at. https://www.mainlineatl.com/georgia-drops-charges-against-atlanta-solidarity-fund-rico-cop-city/
