Assuming you mean on the normal feed, yes they are dynamically inserted and we have absolutely no control over them. That's just how the industry is now. HOWEVER, I for one really prefer that bad advertisers waste their money trying to advertise to our progressive audience. Honestly, I think it's a win-win-win. These advertisers are going to spend $x, we have no control over that. Would we rather those dollars go to conservative/shitty people, who actually have an audience susceptible to their messages? Or would we rather those dollars go to OA, whose audience is not at all susceptible to their message. Not only that, any dollars to OA should actually help Matt be able do more good, in the long run.

The TLDR is that culturally, we're about 50 years behind civilized society, we have Communes of white supremacists just outside of town, and nazis regularly hold rallies downtown and march in the streets.
