On the podcast Law Talk of the Hoover Institute of 9/22/23 called Question Time, several very conservative law professors argue that section 3 of the 14th Amendment would not apply to Trump. I was alarmed to find myself thinking “damn! Their arguments seem very convincing, UNFORTUNATELY! I would love to hear you all try to debunk or counter their arguments. What is our sides’s best argument against their position?

Pittsburgh was the seat of rebellion. The whiskey rebellion of 1791. Best known as the only time in history when a president (Washington) took direct command of an army in the field. #andrewwaswrong

Fun times having a crazy letter writer there in the flesh. When I’ve had to answer such a letter, I always envy the famous letter the Cleveland Browns sent to a lawyer who threatened them over paper airplanes. All I get to do is “thank” them for their “inquiry.”
