Who is the "we" any more, Andrew?

Please reread it. Bruce is accurate and Andrew is doing exactly what he said he would here. You have every right to not like it, but that doesn't change the fact that Andrew is doing exactly what he said he would in those screenshotted posts.

Hi Gretchen, My only agenda, if I have one, in making this suggestion was to offer an idea that might get income to Thomas. Thomas seems to have benefited from this podcast. He has gone from doubting he would be able to buy a house in the Sacramento area, to owning one, and owning a Tesla, and vacationing in Europe last year, and deciding that they could afford a third child. And I think Andrew owes Thomas. Thomas And The Bible lead to Aesthetically Speaking (where I think they first worked together) lead to Opening Arguments. And I think OA lead Andrew to other successes. You seem offended by my hurts and egos comment. I am choosing to not have no opinion on the many other allegations against Andrew. If he has committed crimes the system will have to investigate and act as called for. The atheist community seems to be reacting and will decide what to do. So my take was that feelings have been hurt, and that egos have been bruised, and that embarrassment has ensued. I am probably wrong but that is my assessment. My experience has been that sometimes people get past a lot to keep their income. You certainty might be right and their relationship, both personal and business, is forever shattered. But I put forward a different idea. I just saw Andrew’s post. It might change my mind, but I have tried to explain my thinking when I made my first post. I wish you well.

Even just like announcing that Liz is the new cohost and how that happened, and announcing why you're continuing on with the podcast so soon and clearing the air with that kind of stuff would be appreciated.

Err, are you aware that in addition to all of the accusations against Andrew, including from Thomas, Andrew has allegedly locked Thomas out of the account completely? That was supposed to be a 50/50 contract, and if this is true (as Thomas says), he now gets nothing. So this isn't about "hurt ago," and I wouldn't blame Thomas for never even acknowledging Andrew's existence again.

I don't think that they're ignoring listener concerns. I'm sure that everything here is read by Andrew or someone else involved with the show; having been a small business owner for decades that's what I would be doing.

They may not have settled their positions the same way other podcasts were able to releases similar statements. It does seem... less than ideal for the podcast given they are/were the regular hosts and it is/was not just a behind the scenes relationship.

C’mon

How have you still not made a statement about carrying on with out Thomas? All the banners, descriptions etc. Still have thomas’ name on them. This is crazy! You’ve lost almost 2/3 of your patrons and it’s still dropping and not even a peep besides the apology that you posted that said you would step back for weeks.

I wrote a comment about how the new "don't talk to show listeners" policy insulates the hosts from criticism and lets them just ignore their listeners' concerns. My comment was removed.

Thomas and Andrew have been a good team. Maybe they can get past hurts and egos and continue. Thomas can be the engineer, he is good at it. Andrew can be the front.
