OA572: Ukraine and International Law; Gov. Abbott's Despicable Attack on Trans Kids

What does the US's disgusting history of war crimes teach us about international law? We look at the story of how the US screwed over Nicaragua and what the UN did about it. Also, we break down Gov. Abbott's gross attack on trans people. It's despicable, but what will the real life consequences be? Find out. Before that, some good news and very bad news in the efforts to hold Trump accountable for his uncountable crimes.

“... because [the US] did bad things everyone else gets to do bad things.” No. But how about acting against those you could actually effect. Nothing OA says will affect the Putin regime. But you could at least critique your own government - which you might affect. Such as advocating the indictment of the living members of the Biden, Trump, Obama, Bush II, Clinton, Bush I, and Carter regimes. Which all committed war crimes. Such as the ongoing blockade of Cuba, which is arguably as illegal as the mining of Niccuragua’s harbours under UN Charter Articles 41 and 41, and part two of the Fourth Geneva Convention. Minor note: Sandino’s head could not have been presented to the CIA. The Agency didn’t exist until after WW2. Prior to the creation of the OSS those duties tended to be carried out by the State Department or just wealthy merchants.

So this guy probably isn't going to press forward with the fraud case because it might be hard to deal with? Seriously? That is the most charitable excuse, or am I just failing to understand?
