Considering that they are reviewing it in LAM, I don't think that anybody thinks this is serious.

And I thought "right, get it, women are property you can train to do your bidding . . . real nice, guy." The he mentions a "saddle" and I thought, "oh, gross, he's taking this further than I thought he would. Women aren't just objects, but sex objects with exactly one purpose." Then it just. kept. going! By the time he got to "bullet in between the eyes," I had tears in my eyes from laughing. I feel like even a serial killer watching that show would be like "too far, man. I have a sister."

My brother brought me over to watch the whole series - years ago - when he bought it (from some guy on Ebay, I think). It's great! And no, neither of us are right-wingers. But,... come on! It's a cop MUSICAL. Do you really think it was serious? Admittedly, all other musicals are super-realistic and dead serious, right? :)
