First, congrats (a bit belatedly) on the 500th show. It's been a hell of a run! Second, this is (so far -- I'm in the middle of it) a terrific episode. Really, a great deep dive into a complex topic. I'm thoroughly enjoying it.

2021-06-21 13:07:08 +0000 UTCTraux field airport in the city of Madison WI was selected by the air force to be another F-35 flight training area. Traux field is in a densely populated part of the city. By the air forces own assessment up to 200 residential properties next to the airport will be “no longer suitable for human habitants” because of the extremely loud F-35s. A much larger area of the city (including where I live) will be subjected to the horribly loud F-35s on a regular basis. The decibel level of the planes during take off and landing are enough to cause permanent hearing damage. I expect that a very large number of properties will lose value because of the planes. Is this a case of eminent domain and if so could a court send an injunction until the proper compensation is determined for the 200 families that will lose their homes and the 1000s of families that will lose value in their homes?
