My personal gripe as a kid with Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's is that as a kid I didn't like how they were driving around all of a sudden and in turn, I didn't watch the show that much. Don't get me wrong, the song is amazing (Hell, if we're talking song alone, it clears most of the songs in this list), but I weighed both my enjoyment of the series and the song itself for the rankings (tho looking more into the series as of recent, it actually looks active as hell and my kid self probably missed out). Also its crazy that the first time you ever thought a cartoon character looked attractive when you were a kid was in Totally Spies because I had the exact same experience LMAO (It was Sam for me and in 6Teen it was Jen). Another thing I didn't mention, my top 5 are series that I both watched in it's entirety and at the same time, had an intro that was peak to me.

2025-08-03 16:30:08 +0000 UTCthe digimon intro isnt bad in itself but still feels kinda like an insult for you - you got for all seasons one and the same intro yes? - while in japan they each had their own songs iirc and here in germany and other european places they made their own (cover) songs we listen to even decades later... even japans anime industry was aware of it and praised the localisation songs over here iirc for pokemon, detectiv conan, digimon, etc...
