Uhhhh Have you seen Overlord? While I wasnt huge into the first ep, it picks up like crazy by episode 3 and hardcore sold me on. Now its one of my favorites. As long as you care about the side characters I think its fantastic. You've also mentioned Toaru(A Certain ****) while watching slime. Have you actually seen it? Because that is flat out my favorite fictional verse. It has ups and downs but its crazy overall. Just on the longer side. And I think watching release order is fine (some people will give like crazy instructions for watch order and I thinks thats too complicated lol).
