Pride Month Update

The next video, currently titled "Plagiarism Video I Don't Have A Title For Yet," is coming along really well. I started researching and making notes for it in December last year, but made it the main focus when certain events transpired lately.
My original goal was to get it out during pride month. However, you're not gonna believe this, but I accidentally stumbled upon an even more interesting story while researching the others. Adding it meant taking more time to look into the new stuff and re-organize, including removing a whole 20-ish minute section for pacing purposes (one I tracked down a 20 year old magazine to research, too!). This means it's unlikely I'll have a finished video before Pride Month is over, which sucks because I wrote a joke about it being Pride Month. I'll probably leave it in, as a mark of shame, lol
However, this video, much like a previous one, has a really good logical stopping point near the middle (about an hour in). So once I get the first half looking good, I'll put it up for you guys. Once the video is done I'll finish the 20 minutes I cut out and put it up for patrons as well. (I seriously really want to get some use out of that magazine oh my god)

2023-06-30 10:43:19 +0000 UTCThis video wouldn't quite work as two standalone videos and people typically don't click on a part 2, so it ends up a bit worse off than having a complete video that's on the longer side. It's annoying how this stuff works, but YouTube frequently recommends videos out of order and people don't like to go out of their way to seek out the part 1 if they're not already fans. (Compare the views for a part 2 vs a part 1 for a random video and it's often almost cut in half with part 2!) It's also just nice to have a clean narrative arc and pacing for a single video as best as it can be.

I would assume that people would respond better to hour long videos released at slightly increased frequency, compared to two hour long videos with months and months between them.
