Is this illegal or unethical or just fair game? A big company (such as Google) interviews you for a Product Manager job, and the interviewer asks very specific questions about how you would improve their current products. You give very specific ideas. They don't hire you (and don't give any reason.) They use your ideas in the next 12 months. Ideas aren't worth much, as execution matters most. But, what possible IP ownership can a job candidate protect while still complying with such an interview process?
