SAAS Update

Hello! Quick update here regarding chapter seventeen of Streamers and a Stud. Progress on the story has slowed down for a bit as I have been rethinking many aspects of the story. Despite feeling poor for the delays, I am very thankful for this time. The magnitude of inspiration I've had in the past two weeks has been really incredible. I don't want to dive too much into specifics, but I feel like a few parts of SAAS were going down paths that I didn't fully intend and that I didn't completely enjoy myself.

One example of that would be the character developments of many of the female protagonists. Being sexually corrupted to the drastic point of ditzy sex slaves has been somewhat of a reoccurring theme. As erotic as I previously found this self-made trope, I believe it is very limiting in the long run. I'm finding out that going that far with sexual deviance leaves little wiggle room for nuance and story and plot. Basically, sex slaves make for guaranteed sex and guaranteed sex is boring. I know, I know. This is probably obvious, but I feel like that's the corner that I have written myself into, almost absent-mindedly, which is so weird because I feel like I am always thinking about ways to improve the story.

On another note, the whole spirit of the story is streamers and a stud, and I feel like I've been failing at creating the atmosphere of a harem with the heavy focus I put on each streamer at a time. This will be changing.

Now of course, I'm mainly just typing out loud. I'm a writer, and as such, I can change the plot by just typing away at my keyboard. I just wanted to give you guys some insight on my thinking the past few weeks, as well as prepare you for some upcoming plot shifts. I appreciate the patience as I rework many of the storylines I had planned.

Rest assured, these are good changes that will help the longevity of the story. There will still be plenty of cheating, corruption, and rough sex. Just shifting towards realism a little more.
