Black Adam and Captain Marvel
Added 2020-06-02 22:03:09 +0000 UTCForgive me for the delay on the "video game-themed" image that I mentioned. I was too far along with this one first, and I was really keen to try some things with the coloring.
Desaturating the colors as they move away from the camera, and also making them more blue. I was trying to go for a sort of depth of field look. I was even conscientious of how many light and dark layers were used, depending on how close or far away from the camera something is. I'd added some blur, but it didn't look good.
There was a LOT of work in this one, not to mention the background! Initially I was thinking it'd be a city street, with a couple of cars and an office building and some trees, but then I found this set of Middle East 3D models and decided ...why not? Black Adam is from that part of the world, after all.
Alas this still isn't quite as cinematic or "beautiful" as I was hoping for. It really lacks the punch I was going for - no pun intended. Ah well. Thanks so much for helping to support me in my journey to be an awesome artist. :D
