Tbilisi: Patiko, part 3

Patiko and I met in November and this is actually our second shoot. The first one was pretty decent and we got some great shots, but I wanted to use the same location with some good sun, as it was cloudy and gray for our first shoot.

I met Patiko through a local Georgian photographer who also has a penchant for photographing sexy guys, though he only seems to do black and white studio stuff. Regardless, he was more than willing to arrange an introduction for me to photograph Patiko.

A little about Patiko: despite his look, he's only about 21 or 22, straight and obviously into body building and posing. Some of the shots I definitely wanted the posing, but others I preferred more natural and relaxed, which wasn't as easy for him as the posing.

I chose the location of this beautiful old collapsing church which I've been frequenting since I discovered it. It's not protected, fenced off or anything - and it's smack in the middle of the busy city.

For the record, I've had some complaints about his 'straight guy' underwear, but it was a stretch for him to even pose in underwear, much less to wear any of the more risqué samples I happened to have on offer. Regardless, I don't mind it and he fills them out well! Getting him to take his sweat pants off all the way along with the shoes was a whole other challenge 😆
