An Apology
Added 2025-06-02 01:40:14 +0000 UTCI decided to make a Maelle piece and thought I did enough to make her look of age by giving her a mature body and some morphs that give her small wrinkles, more defined cheekbones and jawline along with a bunch of thick eye lashes.
Sadly that wasn't enough and I've been having to deal with drama for the last couple of days because of what's "canon" despite clearly not following the canon. I had no idea they had eyeliner that thick in 1900's.
Unfortunatly this has been playing on my mind and causing anxiety and overal leaving my mental health in a bad state. In the end I did my best to make it work, I even made it Safe For Work just in case, but that didn't matter and people will be people. I just wished they put more energy into real people who need help instead of protesting for characters who don't even exist.
I've deleted the Maelle post from everywhere and gonna leave it at that.

Sadly it's just the way the world is going. Nothing can really be done about it. I'll be working on the Lune and Sciel project anyway. Then hopefully Stellar Blade's Eve will make me forget about it. Thank you :)

The things that SHOULD be triggering people are seen as normal now, and the things that shouldn't offend people make them absolutely lose their minds. 2025-06-02 04:27:03 +0000 UTCI would point out to people that the renders they get off to doesn't following canon in the slightest, but it only ever matters when it suits them. There's no point in trying in the end, it's a waste of energy. I have old projects of Rachel Amber that I never posted because I was worried of the same outcome. Years later, you see tons of renders of her being boned despite her only model being from LIS: Before the Storm which if you want to look up her canon age for that game, feel free to have a laugh. The community I'm in with the other artists (or co-workers I like to call them) is wholesome and full of support, so hopefully my anxiety will blow over quickly. Thanks for the kind words!

If youre reading this and that post got you "triggered" you need help. Canon or not, this was done in the vision of the artist. One that we're all supporting. Hate and harassment has no room here
