Important Update for 2024

Hi, everyone!

This post will be covering some important things that include my future as an artist.

I'm not leaving or anything, I just want go over a few things, if that's alright.

Here’s the gist.

I’ve been making some not-so-subtle hints about my mental health for a while now. Truth is, I’ve been having anxiety attacks since August. Heavy chest, feels like I can’t breathe. Fun!

I’m getting help and doing some programs, but the only person who can cure me, is myself. So it’s time to make some decisions and changes.

The ugly bits

Over the past year, I’ve been getting lazier and less motivated. As much as you guys and gals love the animations and prime sets that I do, I’ve slowly grown to hate them. Over time, I’ve just rushed them and put in less and less effort.

To deal with this, following January, there will be no polls as I will be taking a break from them for the time being. I will still be trying to get out some sets and animations, but they will no longer be monthly. I will be working on them at a much slower pace that feels right to me.

In all honesty, the prime sets were originally meant to be just pinups or extra renders. I would go back to doing that, but having the fan-fiction with it is what makes it for me. So I'll keep doing them like that.

Changes to be made

Following the new year, I’m going to phase out a few things, such as working by the month. Patreon offers a bi-monthly subscription. I will be switching to it when the time is right.

I also want to phase out 1080p still renders and 720p animations. Also change the tier rewards around. Things will become a bit cheaper.

More sooner changes

Following January, I will focus on my backlog and the changes I want to make to my page. Ideally, I want to get the main changes done by the end of January. Can’t promise anything that quickly though.

Biggest change to make

As much as I love opening Blender to start working on an idea, I’ve become a machine. For 2024, I’ll be working on turning this all back into a hobby. The way it was meant to be.

Final note

For those who don’t know, October 2023 marked the 8th anniversary since I started posting my renders on Tumblr. Till this day, it’s still my passion to create things. With this, I will start playing around with other programs that could take my fan-fiction to the next level. I can’t promise anything cause it’s a big learning curve and I have a terrible attention span.
